  1. Hi Matt, that shoe is excellent - very clean, it looks like it was just born that way, like it's not even trying to look good if you see what I mean. I really dig your shoe designs in general, they are so well proportioned. Have you actually put any of them on the market? And about your artistic style - are you a Moebius fan by any chance? I feel there's an influence there... you know there's a show on of his stuff in Paris.

  2. Thanks David! It's really funny you mention Moebius, I was listening to the new Daft Punk Tron Soundtrack when I was working on this shoe and started googling Tron and was reading about how Sid Mead and Moebius where the main concept artists! I had not heard of him till then. His body of work is astounding!

I haven't had the chance to put anything in production, still have a couple of years before I graduate, but hopefully will have the chance to intern at a shoe company soon.

  3. The essential Moebius work in my opinion is his series arzach-harzak-arzak-harzakz-harzack from heavy metal magazine, I think it came out in the 70's. I found reproductions on http://pdsoasis.thewilloftheancients.com/arzachcomics.html . Enjoy!
